In previous 10 Days of GenAI – Gift Guide edition videos, you learned that building a chat application, you can use Generative AI models to generate answers, based on context retrieved from external data sources. But we can also add the functionality of external applications. Which is great when we want to perform a specific task, like ordering a gift. When using function calling, the LLM does not actually call or run any functions. Instead, we create a structure for the LLM to follow for its responses.
