Amazon Verified Permissions: Attribute-Based Access Control with customized Access tokens

Amazon Verified Permissions is a fine-grained authorization service that helps accelerate application development by decoupling authorization logic from business logic. Amazon Verified Permissions Quick Start adds role-based access control (RBAC) to Amazon API Gateway APIs with a point and click wizard. This reduces the time spent on securing APIs using permissions based on user groups. Additionally, you can implement advanced attribute-based access control (ABAC) through Cedar policies, utilizing user context data from customized Cognito Access tokens.
In this video, you will learn how to configure fine-grained permissions based on user attributes using Amazon Cognito- customized access tokens and Amazon Verified Permissions. This is the third video in the Amazon Verified Permissions Quick Start video series. You can find the previous videos in the series at Amazon Verified Permissions – Quick Start Overview and Demo Amazon Verified Permissions – User attribute based Permissions with Quick Start
