Jared and Meredith were both away from home and had to call their dog sitter to watch their 2-year-old German Shepherd, Charlie. But when the dog sitter couldn’t make it, they asked their neighbor to check in on him instead. Meredith arrived home earlier than Jared, so she was the first familiar face that Charlie recognized, and his extra excitement was from him finally shaking off his separation anxiety.
