Execute process batches with faster material issuing, barcode scanning, and real-time inventory updates in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing.
Explore batch execution capabilities for quality, genealogy, and inventory management at https://social.ora.cl/6009B6LkPS
This demo shows how Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing supports process manufacturing batch execution so operators can record ingredient issues and product completions as work happens. You see how execution starts by selecting the work order, operation, and run, then issuing lots for upstream ingredients before production begins.
The walkthrough highlights built-in barcode scanning to capture material and lot information during ingredient consumption. As materials are scanned and reported, the system confirms requirements are met, decrements inventory for the issued lots, and associates them to the preassigned product lot through genealogy relationships to support traceability.
You also see how work instructions guide operators through processing steps for an execution run, including collecting in-process data such as oven temperature during baking. To complete the run, the operator records run quantity and performs a mandatory inspection, including entering a moisture content measurement and reviewing results. The expiration date is calculated automatically based on the earliest expiring ingredient, and stopping the operation automatically charges the equipment time used. Together, these capabilities connect formula and recipe management with batch management and execution in one unified process.
