BGIS is a Canada-based provider of facility management, real estate, and integrated technical services, supporting a global workforce of 12,000 employees, including technicians working in the field. With HR data managed in spreadsheets and multiple disconnected systems for payroll, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and reporting, the organization needed a centralized platform that could keep up with rapid growth and acquisitions.
BGIS implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to bring HR data into one platform and support more consistent processes across the employee lifecycle. With a unified system, the team can streamline onboarding for acquired businesses by reducing manual steps and enabling faster data uploads. BGIS also uses the platform to pinpoint areas driving higher turnover and has reduced turnover by 10 percent since putting Oracle in place.
With a single source of HR data, BGIS has the information needed to support strategic people decisions and make the organization easier to run. Looking ahead, BGIS plans to expand its use of built-in AI capabilities in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM to help save time, improve accuracy, and make manual processes more efficient.
