Building a Conversational Knowledge Base – Kerim Satirli, Independent & Tu Nguyen, HashiCorp
As software engineers, we love to build good, maintainable code that works and doesn’t panic. Or at least, that’s what we aspire to.
But when even the simplest projects depend on intimate knowledge of many protocols, and RFCs, on top of your project’s domain-specific knowledge, mistakes happen.
In this session, Tu and I look at an assistant we built to help us deliver better code for embedded projects, we dive into how we optimized our model for our specific domain, share what we learned that works and what didn’t.
Attendees can expect to learn about the technical challenge of feeding a model with highly customized data, how to keep data fresh, and what to do to build a stronger UX.
(All code from the session will be shared under Apache-2.0)
