The stunning designs that graced the Fira Gran Via for Explore 2023 Barcelona were too magnificent to discard. So, with support from many involved, a significant portion of the fabric displays were shipped to Cape Town, South Africa.
Four public schools in need of color and excitement were then transformed by the sustainably reused elements from VMware Explore branding, the same look-and-feel Explorers recognize. A fifth chosen institution supported the schools with satellite libraries, offering reading support, math, literature, and counseling services. Support and assistance from local artisans in Cape Town completed the institutions’ makeovers and sewed book bags for the LifeMatters Foundation with the repurposed materials.
