This demo shows how self-service procurement users can generate accurate draft purchase requisitions from supplier quotes using AI agents in Oracle Cloud SCM. The workflow starts in purchase requisitions, where a user creates a new requisition using a supplier quotation file and uploads the quote without leaving the self-service procurement process.
After upload, the AI agent processes the quotation and provides step-by-step status updates. Once key information is gathered, the agent summarizes what was extracted and asks for confirmation to proceed. The system then creates a draft requisition and provides a link to review details. Review is streamlined with a side-by-side comparison of the original quote PDF and a PDF of the generated draft requisition.
Next, the requisition page displays key information and line-level details, including quoted pricing and quantities pulled from the supplier quote. After validating accuracy, the user submits the requisition for approvals. This AI agent helps reduce manual data entry and errors, accelerate processing, and increase buyer and approver confidence.
