Disaster recovery for virtual machines

Virtual Machines (VMs) hosted on Red Hat OpenShift clusters are becoming common place, but what happens if the cluster they are on is not in a working state? Can the VM be recovered on a different cluster? Welcome to OpenShift Application Disaster Recovery!
In this video you will see how a Microsoft Windows server 2022 VM installed with MSSQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) will be failed over from one OpenShift cluster to a secondary cluster all the while persisting newly created files in an AdventureWorks database.
Watching this video will educate the viewer on how the OpenShift Virtualization operator can be used to create and manage Windows servers and critical applications such as MSSQL and SSMS on these servers. In addition, the viewer will understand how easy OpenShift along with operators OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) come together to make recovery of a Windows server VM on a secondary cluster a simple 1-click action.
All comments will be appreciated. Video author Annette Clewett can be reached via email address annette.clewett@ibm.com.
