ExtremeCloud IQ Companion App: Setting Anchor APs for Indoor AFC

Coming soon in the ExtremeCloud IQ Companion app: 6GHz Indoor Standard Power – Anchor AP setup!

This feature will enable users to establish precise Wi-Fi access point locations using GPS coordinates as required for the use of 6 GHz frequency range indoor standard power. With this new feature, users can request device location permissions, scan for nearby access points, select suitable anchor candidates, and set GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) for accurate positioning. Users can also view anchor APs on an integrated map interface and receive confirmation when anchors are successfully established.
