This video demonstrates the fundamentals of EVPN along with its advanced features and walks through a hands-on demonstration. EVPN is a next-generation technology based on MP-BGP, which a proven and stable protocol, to provide a single and unified control plane protocol that supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 services. It has gained popularity as the defacto procotol for the data center, but has many other use cases in the Enterprise Campus and the Data Center Interconnect.
EVPN built-in advanced features provide an efficient and optimized network fabric that can easily scale. Add to that the Alcatel-Lucent Operating System (AOS) EVPN Model which increases the network scalability, similicity, and stability to help acheive an autonomous network fabric.
