In this tutorial, we’ll take on the role of a workbook author and learn how to add a new column when preparing a dataset in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). Adding a new column allows users to extend the way they analyze data by calculating a new column based on data that already exists within the dataset. This tutorial reviews the process for working in the transform editor as well as creating column names and expressions to define the new column.
