In this tutorial, we’ll take on the role of a workbook author completing self-service data preparation and learn how to categorize attributes in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). In the data prep interface, I can categorize attributes–or characteristics–that already exist in my dataset to analyze my data in new ways. This tutorial reviews how to locate the "group" option, select the columns to be categorized, and select and assign each distinct value within a column to a category.
