One day, Jack saw a black cat (who he named Panther) walking around a parking lot with a food wrapper around her neck. Concerned that she might be attacked by raccoons, he decided to build a house for her.
“I built [a house] that looks like our building," Jack explains, "insulated it, put in a 60-watt heated cat bed, heated water bowl, and an automatic feeder on the second floor.”
