Spanner is a highly available, externally consistent and globally distributed database. HarbourBridge is an open source tool for migrating data and schema to cloud spanner. In this video, we perform a minimal downtime migration from MySQL to Cloud Spanner using HarbourBridge. The application use case is calculating ball-by-ball Duckworth Lewis based Target Score for the team batting second in case their innings are interrupted at any point.
