Nasdaq Builds Market Infrastructure of the Future with AWS | Amazon Web Services

Nasdaq has successfully migrated the core trading system of three North American markets to a cloud-enabled market infrastructure using AWS Outposts with accelerated networking Amazon EC2 instances, with the largest market processing up to 36 billion in daily messaging. The cloud-enabled market infrastructure delivered a low double-digit microsecond latency for end-to-end and order-to-trade processes, along with up to 10% performance improvement in round-trip latency. Building on the success of modernizing Nasdaq’s markets, Nasdaq and AWS are excited to make this innovation available to global capital markets as part of the recently announced modernization blueprint.
