Nextcloud in schools and universities

Many schools, including mine, primarily use proprietary solutions such as Microsoft 365, but additionally or alternatively also use open source solutions such as Nextcloud.
That’s why I want to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of open source software compared to proprietary solutions in educational institutions. I also want to talk about areas in which Nextcloud can replace elements such as OneDrive or in which areas it is not yet a replacement.
In addition, I want to show where a Nextcloud instance can already be used by students and make contact with schools and universities that already use Nextcloud and talk about experiences and applications.
Many things start small. Mostly in public spaces such as schools and universities. This also includes the use of open source software such as Nextcloud. Together we can build a more secure digital world.
