Before Jimmi’s husband Juan left for deployment, she gave him a necklace inscribed with the words “one more day.” It was a reminder for them both about when they’ll be able to see each other again.
After he left, Jimmi started to record the countdowns via their Ring Video Doorbell. She says she loves to capture memories, and the consistency was something that she looked forward to each day.
When Jimmi and Juan finally reunited at the airport, they were joined by Juan’s squadron, friends, and family. The entire place applauded, creating a special moment for them all.
