In this screencast, we demonstrate how an IPCEI-CIS collaboration is helping redefine sustainability across the cloud–edge continuum. By combining real-time energy monitoring with intelligent orchestration, the demo shows how energy consumption can be dynamically reduced across distributed edge and cloud environments while benchmark workloads are running.
The integration brings together ONEnextgen, which is building Europe’s first open source platform for the datacenter-to-edge continuum, and EMULATE, developed by Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts to measure, analyze, and optimize edge service performance and energy efficiency.
