As part of the IPCEI-CIS, and in collaboration with nine partner companies (Arsys, BIT, Gdańsk University of Technology, Infobip, IONOS, Kontron, IKERLAN/Mondragón, Oktawave, and Secunet), we have developed an infrastructure testbed to demonstrate OpenNebula’s new capabilities for scalability, portability, and interoperability across a multi-provider cloud-edge continuum. This testbed features resources distributed across nine cloud providers in six EU Member States: Croatia, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain.

This testbed has been built under the IPCEI-CIS virt8ra Cluster, a working group coordinated by OpenNebula Systems that unites 33 companies interested in jointly developing an integrated platform for Cloud-Edge Virtualization Management and Orchestration, serving as a truly vendor-neutral solution.
