Taking over the development of a Nextcloud Application – BigBlueButton integration

The needs expressed by our customers led us to agree to take over maintenance of the BigBlueButton connector for Nextcloud. In this talk, we look at the advantages, challenges and responsibilities associated with taking over the maintenance of opensource software. Passing on a mature opensource project requires respect for the project and its users, and a critical eye. Planned evolutions include respect for Nextcloud principles, for example the possibility for users to recover the notion of sharing for videoconference rooms and their recordings.
