Holger describes how smooth it is to migrate to Nextcloud.
With 40 institutions using Sciebo, around 200,000 users and a complex setup, the migration process took six months of planning, requiring close collaboration, and developing a proof of concept which enabled Sciebo users not to migrate their data to the new platform on their own. Instead, the platform itself was just changed to Nextcloud with minimal downtime.
Migrating to Nextcloud was an ideal choice, especially considering its robust and stable platform and access to a feature-rich ecosystem.
