This video explains Private Google Access (PGA), a feature on Google Cloud that enables Compute Engine instances on a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) subnet to securely reach Google APIs and services without needing an external IP address or Cloud Network Address Translation (NAT). It also covers Cloud Frontends (CFE), which are reverse proxies for most Google APIs, and Cloud Path, an optimized routing path within Google’s network. The primary benefit of PGA is enhanced security by reducing a VM’s exposure to the internet.
