Thomas’ son Tru realized he could get his dad’s attention by pressing the Ring Video Doorbell, even when he’s at work. Although Thomas doesn’t always answer, that doesn’t stop Tru from trying.
In this moment, Tru pressed the doorbell while looking out for his dad’s truck, as he normally comes home around that time. “After he sees my truck, his excitement that daddy is home is readily apparent," Thomas explains. "As someone who didn’t grow up with a dad, this is by far one of the best things about being a dad."
