AI is your assistant, not your replacement. Agree or not?
In Nextcloud Office powered by Collabora Online, new AI features help you deal with routine tasks better. What’s new in the latest version:
✨ Nextcloud Assistant sidebar:
The new AI chat sidebar lets you use Nextcloud Assistant tools alongside your documents and, with your permission, use them with the document content. With Nextcloud Assistant, you choose whether or not to use the feature and what model to run with it.
🧮 AI-assisted error fixing in spreadsheets:
Imagine a spreadsheet copied from another file that now contains a number of errors where the old formulas broke due to lost references. Now fixing these errors is a lot easier with AI integration: Nextcloud Office marks the problematic cells and lets you use AI to identify and fix the problem. That, of course, works with your explicit approval only.
What else is new besides AI features?
• Calculated fields in pivot tables
• Support for editable templates
• Basic section support in Impress, for structuring long decks
• Break-reference warnings in Calc, so large sheets don’t break silently
• Markdown import/export, plus markdown-to-PDF templating
• Accessibility certified to BITV 2.0
