What happens when students get their own AI agent computer for a 24-hour hackathon?
At #HackMIT, ASUS and NVIDIA shared how the ASUS Ascent GX10 is changing the way students build with AI.
The GX10 is an AI agent computer. It’s designed not just to run a model but to give builders a local platform for creating AI agents that reason, take action, and work through multi-step tasks.
For HacKMIT teams, that mean:
🚀 Starting immediately, with NVIDIA Nemotron pre-loaded
💸 Running agents freely, without API costs adding up with every call
🧠 Building and testing agents entirely on the device
When agents can run locally, students can experiment more boldly. They can try more approaches, test more ideas, and push their projects further without worrying about API costs.
As our speakers put it, supporting hackathons is about putting the right tools in the hands of the next generation of builders. And the next generation is building agents.
