Oracle Deep Data Security helps protect sensitive enterprise data from unauthorized AI access by enforcing identity-based access controls directly in the database. Oracle Deep Data Security helps organizations protect sensitive enterprise data by enforcing access controls directly in the database, even when AI agents encounter prompt injection attempts that bypass application-level guardrails.
This demonstration shows how Oracle Deep Data Security uses cryptographically signed identity tokens issued by a corporate directory to verify the end-user’s identity and determine which data that individual is authorized to access. Rather than relying solely on AI guardrails to prevent unauthorized requests, the database independently enforces access privileges before returning information to an AI agent.
The demonstration illustrates how an AI agent responds to a prompt injection attempt after Deep Data Security has been implemented. Although the request attempts to retrieve information beyond the individual’s authorized access, the database recognizes the associated credentials and returns no unauthorized results.
By filtering sensitive information before it reaches the application layer, Oracle Deep Data Security helps prevent private data from being disclosed even when AI guardrails are tricked or bypassed. This database-level approach helps organizations maintain consistent access controls, protect confidential information, and reduce the risk of unauthorized data exposure through AI agents and applications.
