This demo shows how Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing helps process manufacturers manage recipes and formulas to support consistent, high quality production. You see how a process engineer previews an updated recipe for an energy bar product, including the product formula and the batch quantity used for production.
Next, the walkthrough explains how minimum and maximum batch quantities provide the relative batch size used to select the appropriate recipe. When creating a batch and reviewing ingredients, you can see how ingredients are consumed in the bake operation and review formula ingredient details, including changes such as a new or replaced ingredient based on the selected item revision.
The demo then highlights digital work instructions associated with the bake operation. You preview step-by-step instructions that guide the operator through die cutting and baking, then verify baking instructions and temperature settings in the parameters tab, including an operational temperature set to 300 Fahrenheit. Capturing these operational parameters helps ensure production settings are followed and supports traceability by recording actual values during batch execution. Together, these capabilities help process engineers ensure accurate recipes flow through to batch management for efficient batch creation, release, and execution.
